The Department aims to empower and uplift women through skills in education in rural and urban areas. Our subject prepares the students to develop values, emotions and skills to promote personal, family, state of art education, research and extension by nurturing innovations and social responsibilities

The Department aims to discover the changing needs of individuals and families. The subject tries to develop wholesome personality of the students by unifying their knowledge through related science and arts disciplines. Home Science is a subject which trains:

  • Students the skills for employment and entrepreneurship.
  • Give impetus to community outreach and extension.
  • Accomplish training and Development of Young Women for Professional Employment.
